Every day I work with clients who want to make meaningful changes in their life, but they don’t know where to start. I tell them that big transformations start with small calibrations.

These three simple tools will help you make small calibrations that point you in the right direction toward the big transformations you seek in your life.

“I engaged Micah for coaching when I took on an elevated leadership role. He quickly helped me see how my strengths aligned well with my responsibilities, taught me how to cultivate them so they would grow to become talents, and provided the ongoing encouragement I needed to get over my own imposter syndrome. I learned something practical and valuable every session. I found my time with Micah to be so useful that I engaged him for a team coaching session. Ninety minutes together with Micah flew by. Micah quickly helped us pinpoint our collective strengths and handled being peppered by random questions for the duration of the training like a pro. Extremely fun and useful! Thanks Micah!”

— Lance H. (Corporate Leader)

“I’ve engaged with Micah as a coach in a few different situations. Above all, Micah is invincibly positive, perceptively caring, and insightfully competent. And he’s an awful lot of fun to talk to! Conferring with Micah about my Clifton Strengths results, I found it especially helpful as he guided my perception of my strengths over the span of my career, helping me see where I had grown, and where my dominant strengths could lead to bouts of expert blindness. Micah has the gift of discernment, being able to see deeply to root causes and paths to lasting improvement. I am also impressed with Micah’s Smart Start Strategy, a system for organizing and executing a successful start-up business.”

— Steven A. (Learning & Development Manager)

“I have worked with Micah for both one-on-one coaching, as well as team coaching. It was my overwhelmingly positive experience with one-on-one coaching that led me to plan a team engagement with Micah. It’s been a little over a year since I did my first personal coaching session with Micah and I still see a positive impact almost daily in how I manage my strengths. We did our first team session (team of 10) several weeks ago and I have seen our interactions improve. This not only has made an impact on interpersonal relationships between team members but also how I can best and most effectively manage people regarding their strengths.”

— Annie E. (Startup Founder & CEO)

“Micah has had such a positive impact on my life. In a few sessions, he helped me understand my strengths and identify ways to use them in my career, side hustle, and family relationships. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience that he uses judiciously to guide me to make my own observations and commitments. He is an excellent accountability partner – he doesn’t use guilt but rather reminds me of my own motivations. I enjoyed our sessions so much that I even hired him for an assessment/coaching session with my extended family to help us understand each other better through our Clifton Strengths – rave reviews all around!”

— Terry B. (Corporate Leader)

“Micah held a Clifton Strengths workshop for my program management team. It was incredibly insightful. We continue to reference our learnings with Micah and leverage our strengths as a team. Micah is an outstanding facilitator!”

— David A. (Corporate Leader)

“Micah is a very insightful and outstanding coach. I’ve been in leadership positions since 1998 and have had many development coaches. Micah is one of the best I’ve worked with, and he is excellent with building teams. His understanding of applying Clifton Strengths to improve team dynamics is the best I’ve experienced. I believe working with Micah will definitely yield positive results for any team.”

— Craig F. (Corporate Strategist)

“Micah introduced me to the Clifton strengths about two years ago, and I have really enjoyed the perspective it has given me in every day life but especially in my home life. Looking at a person’s strengths and lesser strengths invites room for patience and compassion for the people I deal with every day. It makes it feel less like I’m “dealing” with them and more like I’m enjoying life with them. Micah, I appreciate the ways you approach, consider, and think about people. You like people and you love to be a part of their growth. I feel it in your excitement. Thank you.”

— Cami O. (Artist & Mother)

“Micah is a very knowledgeable coach on identifying, utilizing, and growing individuals’ strengths. All of my new employees take the Clifton Strengths Assessment. After completing the assessment, my new hire sends his results to Micah, who then writes a comprehensive report analyzing my employee’s strengths, my strengths, and how we can best excel together. This is followed up by one-on-one coaching calls. Micah. Is. PHENOMENAL at coaching individuals and teams on using their innate strengths. More of us should hear the message that he has to share.”

— Forrest S. (Startup Founder & CEO)

Services

All of my coaching is anchored to strengths-based development principles, utilizing the Clifton Strengths assessment as a foundational tool. I’ve facilitated workshops for dozens of teams from large companies to start-ups. Working with many organizations, I’ve found that we can accelerate the well-known Tuckman Model (Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing), whether we’re working with a new leadership team or a tiger team with an urgent deadline. When you consider that 90% of Fortune 500 companies have used Gallup’s CliftonStrengths material in some way, it should come as no surprise that strengths-based development works. I can help make it work for you.

Individual Coaching

Some coaches create static packages and expect their individual clients to adapt to the coaching approach. I tailor the coaching approach to serve the individuals with whom I work. I’ll help you increase your self-awareness and create opportunities for reflection as you work to achieve your aspirations in your personal life, in your career, as a leader, or in your relationships.

Team Development Workshops

Using the Clifton Strengths assessment, I’ll help your organization improve working relationships across teams and increase engagement by individual team members. I accomplish this through a tried-and-true facilitated workshop approach, which is not only enjoyable, but also helps establish new routines that act as a catalyst for long-term cultural change.

Public Speaking / Facilitation

As a trained expert facilitator and experienced speaker, I am at my best when I’m in front of an audience. I bring positive energy and a contagious enthusiasm as a speaker and facilitator. I have years of expertise facilitating Strategic Planning discussions, and I partner with clients to design exactly the session or presentation their organization needs.

I developed the ACRR coaching approach to ensure that all individuals and teams with whom I work will see lasting results by 1) increasing self-awareness, 2) making personal development a series of deliberate choices, 3) implementing new routines to create lasting habits, and 4) using intentional reflection as a tool for incremental growth over time.
